Choseon Chapter Dance Team 10 November

 

“Members of the Choseon Chapter Dance and Ceremonial Team supported American Indian and Alaskan Native Heritage month with three dances this year.  The team performed on 8 November in support of the United Stares Army Troop Command-Korea’s celebration.  The team also performed on the 22nd of November,  first in support of Moral Welfare and Recreation Area II celebration and also in support of the Far East District, US Army Crops of Engineers’ celebration. “Big Hunter /  Little Hunter” served as the feature dance for the events.”

Choseon Chapter Service Project 10 November

 

We will be conducting the last scheduled service project for 2006 on 10 November at the Eighth US Army religious retreat center in Seoul. The project will be the last opportunity for youth and adult Arrowmen to earn the Leadership In Service Award for 2006. We will meet at the Scout Hut in Yongsan at 0730 and depart to arrive at the Retreat Center at 0800. Lunch will be provided by the Chaplain and we expect to complete the project in the early afternoon; bring work gloves!

Choseon Chapter Service Project 23 September

 

The Choseon Chapter (Korea) conducted its' fall service project at Camp Humphreys on 23 September with approximately 20 youth and adult Arrowmen participating to include the Chapter Chief and Vice-Chief. We spent a good part of the day clearing brush from the site that will be the location for our Korea District fall camporee in October. Following the completion of the project, we had a BBQ and Chapter meeting to discuss upcoming events.

Choseon Chapter Lock in - 27 January

Choseon Chapter will be having a lock - in at Yongsan Garrison Youth Services beginning at 2300 on 27 JAN until 0700 on 28 JAN. We'll be conducting Chapter youth elections as well as discussing upcoming spring service project options as well as NOAC and the section conclave.

Korea Chapter service project

A Service project was performed at the Korea Religious Retreat Center in Seoul. Eight Chapter members moved and filled sandbags to outline the volleyball court.  The groundwork for projects in 2006 was also established.

Korea Chapter service project

Service project was at the Korea Religious Retreat Center in Seoul and was an erosion control project. 14 Chapter members participated and most will complete the Leadership In Service award at Korea District summer camp set up in June.
