2007 REGISTRATION

 

Annual re-charter for the lodge will be completed in December and requires that each Unit Leader Validate their 2007 OA Roster in the month of November.  Please contact the Lodge Membership Advisor at strieglf@smis.ac.jp

 

ORDER OF THE ARROW—Annual Membership Renewal – FACT SHEET

 

The annual renewal in the Achpateuny Lodge is due to the Lodge Membership Advisor by 1 November. 

 

 

The excel spreadsheet format is to be returned to your chapter membership person, your chapter secretary, or your chapter advisor, as directed by chapter leadership.

 

Enter your O-A membership, completing each field in the spreadsheet.

 

Note:  the Alum = False field means that person is ACTIVE.

 

The Roster Verification is used for:

 

1.  2007 Lodge Charter Renewal (due to national in January)

2.  2007 Dues - $10 will be drawn from unit accounts for each Active member on 1 January.

3.  Only active members are eligible for further honors and recognitions.

4.  Only active youth will be eligible to vote during any elections.

 

Each Troop may have ONE account that provides direct access to update the unit OA data online.  Please coordinate with the Lodge Membership Advisor to update or modify the unit online account

    1. Provide the registration information below.
    2. Email to the Lodge Membership Advisor strieglf@smis.ac.jp
    3. Pay $10 (per calendar year) to the nearest Unit or $10 to the Council Office and specify credit to the OA Lodge account 1-2371-000-00.

3.       Tickets are meant to be accomplished in the best possible manner, signed by the UNIT LEADERS and FAXed to Gene Wadford.  If a physical ticket is missing – but completed, please email me and I’ll send the request to Gene.

 

NLS may only be attended once in a lifetime – so this is the only shot many people will have.

Brotherhood candidates should study their handbooks and the jumpstart website at:  http://www.jumpstart.oa-bsa.org/ 

Brotherhood candidates need to prepare a letter for the Chapter Secretary Dairya Doshi.  The letter should contain:

  • What you think the Obligation means
  • What have you been doing in your troop and daily life to fulfill this Obligation
  • How your understanding of the Obligation has help you this
  • What you plan to do to serve your lodge in the future

Section Conclave for W-1B Report.  Washington, Alaska, and the Far East www.w1b.org.   SectionConclaves are lots of fun and if you ever have the chance to attend one I hope that you choose to do so. 

  •         Lodge is small and has lots of turnover, but did have some accomplishments
  •         Sent 16 people to NOAC 2004
  •         Conducted a Lodge Leadership Development Fellowship
  •         Conducted first NLS outside the United States for 60 arrowmen, thanks to Ross and Mr. Bliss
  •         Thanks for hosting the conclave; it is an honor to be here.
